Dr. Alarbi obtained his dental degree from the University of Tishreen, Syria in 1996 and served as a part-time assistant professor in the Removable Prosthetics department. In 2002 he received his Specialty Certification in Orthodontics and Dento-Facial Orthopedics (CECSMO) from the University of Aix-Marseille II. He relocated to Florida to join the JU Faculty in July 2003 when he was engaged in private practice in Marseille. He then obtained a Certificate in Advanced Graduate Studies in Orthodontics in 2009. Dr. Alarbi is certified by the American Board of Orthodontics and a current member of the American Association of Orthodontists and the College of Diplomates of the American Board of Orthodontists. He is a former member of the French Society of Dento-Facial Orthopedists and the French Society of Bioprogressive Orthodontics. He is currently an active member in many local, state, and national orthodontic professional societies.
